Mede
Mead is a drink based on honey ("honey wine") and water. At De Mederie we always let our mead mature in used oak barrels.

Cider
Spontaneous fermented cider from organic apples. Sometimes with berries, pears or quince added.

Specials/collabs
Every now and then we make a 'collab' brew together with brewer friends. Often this is an extra unique brew. Sometimes we make a 'hybrid' brew i.e. beer-mead combination, cider-mead, gueuze-mead, ... We also have a fruit wine (cherry wine) in our range.

De Mederie was founded by Jorre, who wants to share his passion for craft beverages with the world. At 18, Jorre started out as a passionate beer brewer, but as he discovered more about other beverages, he decided to apply his expertise to mead and cider. All of the meads we make are barrel-aged, and a significant number of our ciders undergo the same aging process, which creates a rich, complex flavor.
Jorre’s years of experience in the craft beer world form the foundation of De Mederie. Since 2009 until now, he did internships at home and abroad and studied biochemistry, which gave him a solid background in brewing quality beverages.
This experience is reflected in the care and passion with which every batch of our products is made.
Our ciders are exclusively spontaneously fermented and consist of locally picked apples, combined with a portion of cider apples from Normandy, which Jorre collects himself every year. This ensures a unique taste that is both local and authentic.
At De Mederie, everything revolves around innovation and quality. In addition to classic apple ciders, we also make berry ciders, pear cider and even cherry wine. These special variations show our creativity and offer a new taste sensation every time.
